Heeled Sandal Crazy!

You're probably getting fed up at me mentioning my birthday at every second I get the chance, but everything just seems to link with it! I've been loving heeled sandals since they hit the shelves and the blogger world. I just haven't been able to afford anything more than Primark, -and trust me I'm the last person to slag off Primark but their sandals are just not up to scratch!-
So, I thought I'd share with you guys my favourite heeled sandals at the moment, and again I'm hoping to show some of these in a birthday haul! Whether it's one ankle strap or two, open toe or closed toe or just some damn crazy strap action I just love anything the shops throw at us. I would love to see some more brightly coloured ones, which is why I love the blue colour of the Topshop ones. I'm sure there are some lying around and I just haven't seen any so let me know if you've spotted some yourself please.

As you can probably tell, Zara is my favourite at the moment for this trend, they just have such a variety of styles to chose from. However I think my favourite ones are the Topshop ones, the colour is just gorgoeus and I love the gold detailing, it's the perfect heeled sandal for me -bit too pricey though, even for my birthday-. The twisted strap on the Zara Sandal(5) is just gorgeous and is just a nice change from the standard ankle strap. I think they would just look stunning with some cuffed boyfriend jeans and a slouchy top, just to emphasise the sophistication and shape of them.

I hope you enjoyed this post, these posts are my favourites to do! So let me know below if you enjoy these sort-of wish list posts and I will keep them up regularly! Hope you all had a nice weekend, speak soon,
beccii.xx

Paul & Joe Wishlist.

It's my birthday in about 2 weeks -I'm 18 finally- and as I'm going shopping for it, I've been checking out some websites to get some ideas of what I want. I've never been into Selfridges, Space NK or anywhere like that but this shopping trip is commencing in London so I will finally get the chance to! I've just been looking on the Selfridges website and have come across some gorgeous products but particularly Paul & Joe has caught my eye. After seeing Vivanna Does Makeup's recent post which you can see here, lead me to Paul & Joe, and I'm so glad I've found their brand!
1. Nail Base Coat- I've been looking for a decent base coat for my nails, as they just manage to get really stained even if I use a base coat. I've never heard anything good about this, but for only £10 and it's in such a pretty bottle I'm willing to try it!
2. Moisture Cream- Again this is just something I've been needing as I still don't think I've found the perfect moisturiser for my skin. It is scented which I'm always sceptical about, but orange flower and orange oil sounds very appealing! I must admit though that I was only drawn to this because of the detailing on the lid, and just a warning, I chose most of these because they look pretty!
3. Beauty Mirror- I need a compact mirror to keep in my make-up bag and this is just beautiful, it reminds me of the shells that have a pearl in -or oyster shells!-. On the inside there is a mirror on one side and a silver base embellished with a chrysanthemum motif which is just stunning.
4. Floral Make-up Bag- This is such a cool idea, and I can't wait to get my hands on it! It has lots of inner pockets and two removable pouches for any extras! This will be so handy as you can separate your make-up into chucks I have a pretty hard time finding things in my huge make-up bag!
5. Blusher Stick- This is just so cute!! I don't really understand how this could work as a blusher but I suppose that you could just use your finger or a brush to blend it out which would make sense. Again so very cute!
6. Lipstick Case- I don't really need this in my life, but at the same time I really do! It's so gorgeous and would be quite handy to keep your lipstick in, as the top comes of my lipsticks a lot of the time while it's in my bag, which is a nightmare! And for only £5 its a really cute accessory to have.

Keep an eye out for a post in a few weeks, hopefully featuring some of these pieces! You can also found these on Paul & Joe's website, I just chose Selfridges as I'm going there. Well I hope you enjoyed this post and liked some of these products as much as me, speak soon becciixx.

What's on my Face #1.

Well I'm backkkkkkk! It's been a while, maybe about two weeks, but now my exams are over I can get back to doing what I love! So to start my blog off again, I thought I would do a What's on my Face post, as I was particularly liking my make-up today. This was just a popping down the shops look, so I tried to keep it quite minimalistic, didn't want to look like I was going out clubbing when going to ASDA!
Face.
As my foundation is a bit on the pricey side, when I am only going somewhere quickly I prefer to use a BB cream rather than a full coverage foundation. The BB cream I use is Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Light, I like the coverage this gives for a BB cream and the colour is just perfect. Being a BB cream it doesn't cover blemishes but does reduce the redness and evens out skintone. To cover up blemishes I use the Collection Concealer which is just fantastic, I also use this the cover up dark circles and along my nose as it needs a bit of extra coverage. Lastly to set this all in place I use Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Peach Glow, this is perfect for oily skin like mine as it keeps the skin looking matte.
Eyes.
For my eyes I used a MUA eye liner pencil in white and took this along my lash line, I love this technique as it makes your eyes pop and just look instantly brighter. I also applied a shimmery gold eye shadow across my lid, with a light brown in the crease to define my eyes. The mascara I have on is the BareMinerals Big Tease, I would usually do a few coats on this mixed with L'Oreal Telescopic but, to be honest, I could not be bothered to apply it!
Eyebrows.
For my eyebrows, I usually use Avon Perfect Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown, but I fancied a change to I used my MUA Pro-Brow Palette with a Real Techniques Angled Brush in define them. I much prefer the finish of a pencil as supposed to a powder when I want to really define my brows, but as I keep saying this is just a quick pop to the shops.
Cheeks.
For some definition I chose to use a Bronzing Powder by Lacura Beauty, I just did the fish face and took a large angled brush along the hollow of my cheeks. For a pop of colour I used Pink Ice by BareMinerals on the apples of my cheeks for a really rosey glow.
Lips.
And lastly for my lips, to keep in with the rosey cheeks, I used Classy by Elf. I love the formula of this and it is probably my new favourite in my collection at the moment.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I'm going to get my bum in gear and get back into my blogging routine! See you guys soon, becciixx.

Can you get any brighter?!

It was about time that I jumped on the band wagon as got myself a proper Spring shade of lippie! This is absolutely perfect, it's just got the right amount of warmth in it as it is pale pink, so it could have been a bit risky! At only £2.99 Collection, have really impressed me! It's a fantastic formula, is totally non-drying lasts for a reasonable time and there is a great colour range too. The colour I chose was Bubblegum, all that's left now it for me to get a purple shade, but lets stick to this colour first.
Sorry I didn't show this on my lips, the pictures just couldn't do it justice! I really need some practise with taking pictures of colour on my lips, I just manage to make them look wonky. I'm not a massive fan of the packaging -think it's a bit childish- but for 2.99 I can't complain! To sum up, this colour is gorgeous and is a great lipstick!

Let me know if you've tried any of the Collection lipsticks and what your favourite is! See you hopefully soon, my first exam is tomorrow so I may not be around! Until next time, becciixx.

Party On My Nails.

There are so many gorgeous effect polishes going around at the moment, I keep having heart attacks when I go into Boots or Superdrug and see the glittering, sparkling and shining polishes. I just love how different all of the brands are making their products! My favourite has to be OPI- The Impossible, as shown as I come into some money I will be buying it!
So as I love these polishes so much I decided to use one today! This is from the W7 range and is called Multi Glitter. I thought this would look gorgeous layered over the top of a light blue, so I chose Sheer Blue, again from W7.
Love these nails, my mum really wants me to do this for her! Let me know your favourite glitter polishes and leave me links to any posts of your nails! Speak soon, becciixx.
